Gobbi

Gobbi was an Italian boat builder founded in the late 1960s by Angelo Gobbi. The company started in Italy and built motorboats and motor yachts, especially sporty cruisers and open boats. In 2001, the Gobbi brand was acquired by the Azimut-Benetti group and its products were later developed under the Atlantis name.

Gobbi became known for motorboats and motor yachts with a sporty character, including open cruisers and mid-sized express boats. Its range evolved from smaller craft into larger models, with examples such as the 315 SC, 345 SC and Atlantis 47 showing the brand’s move toward more substantial cruising boats. The shipyard was also associated with serial production methods and fiberglass construction, which helped it reach a wider European market. After the acquisition, the Gobbi name was gradually replaced by Atlantis on later boats.
