Schooner Dallinghoo: A Classic Gaff-Rigged Sailing Yacht for Charter in Southeast Asia (1990)

Discover the timeless elegance of the Schooner Dallinghoo, a 100-foot steel-hull gaff-rigged topsail schooner built in 1990 by S.A. Pritchard in South Africa. Designed by renowned naval architect Dudley Dix, this exquisitely restored vessel blends the classic romance of a tall ship with modern comforts like air conditioning and a watermaker.

Currently located in Thailand (not Myey as previously stated), the Dallinghoo offers flexible charters from November to April in Phuket and Langkawi, and from May to October in Borneo, Tioman Island, and Indonesia’s secluded Anambas Islands.

 Schooner Dallinghoo is a classic style 30m gaff-rigged schooner,  completely rebuilt in 2014-16 for the charter market in South East Asia maintaining her classic lines and exterior but with a modern interior offering what is needed in today's market:-  air-conditioning throughout, vacuum toilets, WIFI, USB charging points, etc.

Schooner Dallinghoo has availability for charters from mid-January with a number of weeks still available for this season in the Andaman Sea and for our summer season in the South China Sea and I would be interested in getting her listed on your website.  From November to May we operate in the Andaman Sea mostly in the Mergui Archipelago but south to Malaysia (Langkawi), Thailand and out to the Andaman Islands of India and for the summer months June to October we migrate to the South China Sea and sail the Anambas Islands and the Malaysian East Coast islands, North Borneo and north to Koh Samui in Thailand.

All cabins refitted in 2016, light and bright cream and varnished teak interior paneling with varnished hardwood trim – all floors throughout varnished hardwood.

‘Captain’s Cabin’ double cabin behind Navigation station offering ensuite WC, hand basin and shower.  This cabin is available for guests to use if a double bed is required and Captain will move to the twin cabin.

4 Berth crew cabin forward with bunks and ensuite facilities, this cabin is accessed from the deck above and therefore total separate to the guest accommodation aft of it.

Accommodation & Guest Capacity

The Schooner Dallinghoo accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 air-conditioned guest cabins, including 4 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. All cabins were refitted in 2015, featuring light cream and varnished teak interiors with hardwood trim.

• Cabins: 5 guest cabins (4 double + 1 twin)
• Crew: Separate cabins for up to 6–7 professional crew members

For overnight and extended charters, the yacht can host up to 8 guests in a more intimate configuration.
