Explore the Lowcountry by Private Sailboat Charter (2018)

Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Beaufort's waterways and Saint Helena Sound on a private sailing charter with frequent Dolphin Sightings and sometimes even Monkeys on Morgan Island. "Traveller" is a Catalina 275 sport, a 28-foot modern, high-performance sailboat, designed for easy handling but also built for speed. The perfect boat for both beginners who want to learn how to sail as well as the sailing enthusiasts who want an exhilarating experience. She features a large, open cockpit with tiller steering, and a self-tacking jib. There's also a spinnaker onboard to turbo charge the sailing experience on light wind days. Down below you'll find ample seating and a galley table if you need to get out of the weather, there's also a private head (restroom). Feel free to bring food and drinks in a soft sided cooler or use our onboard ice box. Charters leave out from a secluded private dock on Saint Helena Island. Up to 6 guests allowed, all ages welcome. All charters come with a USCG licensed captain, we don't do bareboat chartering due to the numerous unmarked and uncharted shoals in the vicinity, but Captain Barry is happy to stay out of the way and let you sail the boat and just be there as a navigational resource or if you prefer to sit back and relax and let someone else do all the driving and sailing or some combination of both, we will customize the trip to whatever you desire. We can even anchor for swimming or exploring a sandbar, just let us know ahead of time and we'll make it happen.
