Impala 35 – A Mahogany Work of Art and genuine “Danish Dynamite” A rare and rewarding Impala 35 built in 1995 now available! It is based on the well-known and high-performance Impala 36 hull model, but exceptionally well executed with a cross-laminated mahogany-epoxy construction. The boat was designed by the esteemed Danish Björn E. Jensen, and Impala boats are aptly described as “Danish dynamite” – fast, stiff and truly made to sail. S/Y Echo was built in collaboration between Fördewerft and the renowned Matthiesen & Paulssen in Germany. The current, second owner of the boat, brought the boat to Finland in 2021, where she sailed in fresh water at Lake Päijänne. Engine is 45hp VW Euromotor, shaft drive and 3-blade Volvo folding blade propeller. There is no hour meter.
