Barents Sail is a small charter company that offers charter trips and rental of our beautiful Bavaria sailboat of 44 fot with the name "Norbreez". "Norbreez" has 4 double Oceans Evasionins, one of them has a bunk bed. There is two toilet and shower with 2 x 200 liters of fresh water, 200 liters of diesel. The motor is a volvo penta 75 hp. The boat comes complete with bed linen and towels. On Barents Sail's boats we offer a starter package with raw delicacy of king crab and snow crab and if you want to try your luck in fishing for fish yourself, the boats have equipment for this too. The favorite places to sail all year around are Northern Norway, Sørøya, Lofoten, Senja,outer Tromsø and Lyngen fjorden.If you like mountain hike, why not drop the Anchor in a fjord and take your back pack on and walk or ski in our beautiful nature summer or winter.Personally i can recommend a visit to Årøya what is in the middle of Lyngen fjorden. The owner of Barents Sail and operator of Norbreez is Steve Arntzen who is an experience sailor in all type of ship and he haw sailed as captain at sea for 35 years in different ship, like fishing wessels,tourist and research in Whale counting in Barents sea and Svalbard aria. Steve is a Captain in the Norwegian Opilio snow crab and King Crab fishery back from 2014 and one of the first captains in this fishery.Steve will be happy to give recommendations where to find and catch a few taste samples of this delicacy and if you want a Cod dinner in your sailing trip, then he haw a few secrets to share depends of the aria you sail with Norbreez.
