Three owners since 1958
Gianfranco Cecchi and Giuliano Pecchia opened the first yard in 1958 in Limite sull'Arno, near Florence. Giovanni Jannetti took over in 1972, opened the Viareggio shipyard and moved the company to Ameglia, on the La Spezia coast, in 1999. Massimo Perotti acquired the majority from Jannetti in 2005, and under his leadership Sanlorenzo listed on the Milan stock exchange in December 2019.
Ranges from 24 to 70 meters
Three composite families form the core of the catalogue: the planing SL line from 24 to 37 meters, the semi-displacement SD line from 28 to 38 meters and the SX crossover series introduced in 2017. A superyacht division in La Spezia builds in aluminum and steel from 40 to 70 meters across the Alloy, Steel and Explorer ranges. Since 2018 the group has also owned Bluegame, a separate brand for sport utility yachts of 13 to 21 meters, and it keeps a research and development center in Massa.
Sanlorenzo on the charter and brokerage market
Because every boat is customized, used Sanlorenzos vary widely in layout and equipment, and comparing two candidates takes more care than with series-built yachts. GetBoat lists Sanlorenzo motor yachts and superyachts for both charter and sale.
