Balt-Yacht is a Polish boat builder based in Augustów, in the Podlaskie region of northeastern Poland. The company was established in 1990 by Krystyna and Benedykt Kozłowski and operates from Żarnowo Pierwsze near Augustów. It builds motorboats, sailing boats, rowing boats, and houseboats using GRP or polyester-glass laminate construction.
Balt-Yacht traces its modern business back to 1990, when Krystyna and Benedykt Kozłowski founded the company in Augustów. The shipyard is located at Żarnowo Pierwsze 9B, 16-300 Augustów, and is presented as one of the larger Polish builders of laminate boats. Company materials also describe a family tradition in boatbuilding that predates the formal founding of the firm. Balt-Yacht has marketed itself in both domestic and export markets and has long experience with contract manufacturing for other brands.
The builder’s range includes motorboats, sailing boats, rowing boats, and houseboat-style craft. Public model listings and dealer references show names such as Balt 17, Balt 23, Balt 26, Balt 27, SunCamper, and Balt 818 Titanium, with production focused on boats roughly 5 to 12 or 13 meters long. Balt-Yacht states that it specializes in polyester-glass laminate construction, and industry profiles describe it as one of Poland’s major producers in this segment. The company has also been associated with building boats for international brands, including Jeanneau and X-Yachts.
