This iconic racing yacht is designed for well-organized crews and attracts both professional and amateur sailors from around the globe. With a capacity for 6 guests, it offers an exhilarating blend of performance and teamwork on the water.
The Platu keelboat is perfect for day sailing in Ao Yon Bay or just for learning to sail. We offer this vessel for charter to students who have completed an ISSA Inshore Skipper or equivalent certification. If you are unqualified you can join a course or sail at the weekends on our Join In activities. The boat is perfect for a crew size about 5/6 persons. The vessel is ideal for learning purposes as it is easily reefed and both young people and older people can easily handle the jib and the mainsail without too much difficulty. The boat is exciting and responsive, which is why we use her for learning to sail. Students fromr age 8 -70 years of age can contribute to sailing this splendid yacht. we prefer children to be accompanied with their parents.
