2021 Moomba Makai Wake Boat Rental Spend the day on the water aboard our 2021 Moomba Makai, a spacious 24-foot wake boat kept in excellent condition and professionally set up for wakesurfing, wakeboarding, tubing, swimming, cruising, and relaxing with family and friends. The Makai is Moomba’s largest boat and offers plenty of seating, storage, and room to move around. It comfortably accommodates groups of up to 12 passengers and is rated for as many as 16, making it a great option for family outings, birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette parties, company events, or a full day on the lake with friends. Built for Wakesurfing This boat has been modified and carefully weighted to create a larger, cleaner, and more powerful surf wave than a standard factory setup. The wake can be adjusted for different rider sizes and experience levels, whether you are learning for the first time or already surfing without the rope. Wakesurf lessons are also available. Our experienced captain can help with board selection, starting technique, balance, rope handling, wave positioning, and progressing to riding without the rope. Captain and Surf Lessons A captain can be added to your rental so your group can relax and enjoy the day without worrying about launching, docking, driving, setting up the wave, or managing the boat. Captain service is especially recommended for groups that want to wakesurf, drink alcohol, are unfamiliar with Jordanelle Reservoir, or simply want a more convenient and stress-free experience. Wakesurf instruction is available for beginners, children, and experienced riders who want help improving their technique. Jordanelle Delivery We can deliver the boat directly to Jordanelle Reservoir for an additional $200. Delivery can include transporting the boat to the reservoir, launching it, and arranging the return process. Rental Requirements The boat must be operated responsibly and returned in the same condition in which it was received. Renters are responsible for following all Utah boating laws, passenger limits, safety requirements, and reservoir regulations.
