Baobab Express is a Surprise sailboat from the Archambault shipyard, well known for its racing results, but above all, it is a boat perfectly suited for coastal cruising with family or friends.
It is an excellent compromise and a very successful hull produced in more than 1800 units!
The Surprise can meet various programs: it is a very interesting dayboat. Its spacious cockpit and clear deck layout allow for enjoyable moments.
When sailing, the Surprise is not very technical and its maneuvers are easy. It is a safe sailboat that can provide a lot of pleasure for coastal cruising, having fun and relaxing.
For sailing enthusiasts and racing fans, its hull will provide extraordinary sensations.
Very responsive in light winds, it will be able to maintain enough sail for a long time. It is one of the few sailboats from that time capable of sailing close to the wind without losing speed while also being able to plane downwind. And this one-design is very active with a busy and varied monotype calendar.
