Cobalt CS23 Surf (2025)

Cobalt CS23 Surf — a new motor boat from Cobalt (previewed at Chicago Boat Show January 2024). The CS23 Surf is a 23' 5" (7.14 m) sports bowrider with a planing GRP hull and 20-degree deadrise at transom. It features a 8' 6" beam, 60-gallon fuel capacity, and 1,244 lbs of water ballast across five tanks for surf performance. Powered by Volvo Penta inboard/sterndrive engines ranging from 300hp to 380hp V8, with forward-drive options available. The boat includes U-lounge seating, aft-facing Rumble seat, and certified capacity for 12 persons with ample walkabout storage. Equipped with Cobalt's Custom Wave Technology including Malibu-patent Surf Gate for trailerable surf capability. Dry weight is 3,950 lbs (1,792 kg) without trailer, making it easily towable with a dual-axle braked trailer option.
