Hello, I am Joaquim. Thank you very much for your interest in one of our boats. In order to respond more quickly to our customers and resolve their questions promptly, we have prepared this message with some frequently asked questions:

Is there parking near the boat?
Yes, we are located in the port right in front of the BP gas station in Roses. Right in front of the boat there is a paid parking lot for only 3€ all day. A little further ahead, also within the port (about 30 meters from the boat), there is a free parking area.

Can I rent a boat if I don't have a boating license?
Yes. If you do not have a boating license, you have two options:
Rent the Astec FIBER 450 boat, which does not require a license.
Or book any boat from our fleet with a skipper.

Skipper rates:
80€ for 4 hours
140€ for 8 hours

What are the rental hours?
We offer various time slots according to your preferences:

Half day (morning): check-in between 9:00 and 9:30
Half day (afternoon): check-in between 14:30 and 15:00
Full day (8 hours): from 10:00 to 18:00
Sunset Experience: from 19:00 to 21:30

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the reservation?
Do not worry. If the weather conditions are not favorable, we will notify you in advance and reschedule the departure based on availability. If it is not possible to change the date (due to boat or client availability), we will ask Samboat to refund the amount paid.

How does the security deposit work?
The amount of the security deposit depends on each boat and you can see it indicated in the ad for each boat. The deposit is paid at the beginning of the rental, just when the boat explanation is given and you check that everything is in order. It is returned the same day after checking that the boat is returned in the same condition.

How much is spent on gasoline during a day of rental?
In boats that require a boating license, gasoline is not included in the price. When the boat is delivered, the tank will be full, and at the end of the rental, you must go to the BP gas station in the port of Roses to refill what has been consumed before returning the boat.

The consumption depends on factors such as length, engine, speed, number of people on board, current, and wind. Here is an average daily consumption estimate:

6-meter boat, 115 hp engine: between 40€ and 60€
150 hp engine: between 50€ and 70€
8-meter boat, 300 hp engine: between 70€ and 110€

Please note that consumption may be higher or lower depending on the route taken.

Can I add any extras to my reservation?
Of course! We have several extras to make your experience at sea even more fun and complete:

- Aquatic Donut - Pure adrenaline towed by the boat.
- Wakeboard - Ideal for the most daring and action lovers.
- Paddle Surf - Perfect for relaxing when anchored: allows you to sunbathe on top, explore hidden caves, or simply gain space on board.
- Snorkel pack for 2 people - Includes goggles and snorkels for two.
- Snorkel pack for 4 people - Includes goggles and snorkels for four.

Just let us know in advance to prepare everything onboard before your departure.

Is there a cooler on the boat?
Of course! All our boats are equipped with a 24-liter portable cooler with ice, so you can enjoy your drinks and food nice and cool all day long.

Is there a canopy on the boat?
Yes, of course! We know how important it is to protect yourself from the sun during a day at sea, so all our boats are equipped with a canopy so you can comfortably enjoy the shade when needed.

Can we bring food and drinks on the boat?
Yes, of course! You can bring all the food and drink you want on board. In addition, all our boats (except the Astec Fiber 450) have a table so you can eat comfortably during the outing.

What routes do you recommend?
Once the reservation is made, we will send you a PDF document with useful information about navigation rules and recommended routes. We usually recommend the route north, towards Cadaqués, as there are many spectacular coves along the way. In addition, during check-in, we will advise you on the best coves of the day according to the weather conditions.

Are there life jackets for adults and children on the boat?
Yes! All our boats are equipped with the mandatory safety equipment that we will show you during check-in. In addition, we have life jackets for children of all ages. Once the reservation is made, we will send you a link where you can write to us if you are coming with children and the weight of each one so we can have the life jackets ready on the boat.
