Lomac

Lomac is an Italian boat builder based in Milan and San Donato Milanese. The company builds rigid inflatable boats and outboard-powered boats, with a range that includes leisure, performance and tender models. Lomac is a family-run business led by the Lo Manto family across three generations.

Lomac began in the early 1960s in Milan, where the Lo Manto family applied experience from a previous machinery business to inflatable-boat production. The company first sold boats made by other brands, then moved into building its own models. In the early 1980s, Lomac became the first European shipyard to replace the simple fabric-and-slat floor with a fiberglass hull. The business remains family run and is presented by the company as an Italian shipyard with long continuity in the RIB market.

Lomac’s current range is built around rigid inflatable boats and outboard boats. The company states that it produces 58 models in six series, while other industry listings describe multiple lines including Adrenalina, Big Game, Euforia, GranTurismo, Tender and Turismo. Its boats are designed for different uses, from tenders and day boats to larger high-performance RIBs. Across the range, Lomac combines inflatable tubes with fiberglass hulls and offers accessories and maintenance products made for its own models.
