Turtle Island or “Marathonisi Islet” as locals call, is a protected small islet in the bay of National Marine Park where Caretta Caretta nests its eggs. Last years it is known as the Turtle Island because of its shape as it looks like a turtle. There are two main beaches on it, one with pebbles, while the other has fine white sand. Locals most love it for the stories with pirates where our grandparents used to tell. Especially during high season is one of the biggest attraction of the island where with absolute respect we follow the strictly rules of National Marine Park and Greek Port Authorities about the time of staying on the island. 3rd Stop. Keri Caves located in the southern-west part of the island. It is a must visit for those who love to snorkel in turquoise and crystal clear waters. Here you can explore a numerous of natural caves. 4rd Stop. The Mizithres are two large and imposing white rocks, which emerge from the crystal clear waters of the southwestern coast. The rocks are named after the Mizithres kind of cheese, as their shape is reminiscent of chunks of the foresaid cheese. Mizithres Rocks belong to a cluster of caves and arches which form the trademark coastline of Keri.
