Großenbrode is centrally located on the "new" German Baltic Sea coast, making it an ideal starting point for sailing trips along the East Holstein coast, to the numerous ports in the Lübeck Bay, the Mecklenburg Baltic coast, Denmark, the island of Rügen, Bornholm, or even the Little Belt. The wind conditions are ideal for sailing trips in the summer months, as stormy winds are rare. Along the East Holstein coast, the land provides protection against high seas even in stormy western winds.

The Großenbrode municipal and sports boat harbor is protected on all sides in the northwest of the Großenbroder Inland Lake. The docks have water and power connections, Wi-Fi, sewage disposal, well-maintained sanitary facilities, and ample parking. The harbor area features a shop with a well-stocked range of supplies for sailors and charterers, from shackles to oilskins.

All our yachts are covered by liability and comprehensive insurance. Yacht handover takes place on Saturdays at 4 pm, and return is also on Saturdays between 9 and 10 am.
