Coastal Fishing in Ponta Delgada, Azores

We specialize in trolling for game species and have been operating out of Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel which is a part of the Azores archipelago, since 1998. A typical coastal fishing trip includes light tackle fishing for Barracuda, Atlantic Bonito, Bluefish, Jacks, Mackerel, Grouper, and many others, and can be done throughout the year.   Your experienced crew is made up of an expert captain and two deck mates, one of whom is a marine biologist. The whole crew has extensive experience of fishing the local waters, having lived and fished in the Azores all their lives. You will fish aboard the “Alabote,” a 32’ Bayliner Explorer 3270 that was built in the USA and has undergone a full restoration by the captain and owner of the company. The boat is well equipped with everything you need for fishing, with a very spacious deck, a Game Fisher fighting chair, a range of Garmin electronics and full safety equipment. The boat is powered by twin 250 HP Yanmar engines and can comfortably cater for up to six anglers.
