The sail plan is very manageable, and the reefing system allows me to adjust quickly when conditions change. A major advantage of this yacht is the set of new sails from 2025, which have noticeably improved both performance and handling. The fresher, more responsive sailcloth makes the boat feel lively and efficient, even in lighter winds. Another practical upgrade is the inverter, which has been incredibly useful during longer passages or quiet nights at anchor. It allows you to power and charge essential appliances independently, offering real freedom when spending time off-grid. Below deck, the Oceanis 38.1 features a bright, modern interior and a fully equipped galley with a refrigerator, oven, stove, and generous storage space. Excellent ventilation, LED lighting, and multiple USB/AC outlets contribute to a comfortable living environment throughout the cruise. Overall, the 2017 Oceanis 38.1 is a well-equipped, reliable, and comfortable sailing yacht. With modern navigation equipment, new 2025 sails, easy sail handling, and the independence provided by the inverter, she’s perfectly suited for relaxed, enjoyable, and efficient cruising.
