Saint François is a seaside resort with the best gourmet restaurants in Guadeloupe, entertainment, a casino, and an 18-hole golf course. In front of the port, there is a superb lagoon, the Petite Terre reserve (nature reserve) 10 NM away (2 hours), Marie Galante Island 18 NM away (3-4h), Les Saintes 30 NM away.
