Where are your yachts docked?

Literally everywhere! We are an online marketplace that operates worldwide. No matter where you are going, all you need for your sail vacation is our website. We make it easy for you to plan your next sea adventure!

Do we need to come to your office to sign the agreement?

We value your time and strive to make all paperwork convenient. With no need for a contract, we operate based on the offer available on our website and sign all necessary documents using e-signature

What is the cancellation policy?

Know before you go! Every boat has its own cancellation policy, set by the owner. But don't worry, we'll fill you in on all the details before you rent, so you can sail with peace of mind!

I made a request, but can't see any offers.

You can expect to start receiving offers from yacht owners within the first 2-3 hours after you make a request. Sometimes it may take longer if the owner is in a different time zone or not immediately available to respond. If you don't receive enough offers or the ones you receive aren't suitable, don't worry! Our managers are always available to assist you in your search. Just make sure to check your WhatsApp and email regularly as we'll communicate with you there.

I haven’t found what I am looking for. What can I do?

I can’t log into my account

First, try logging in from a different browser or device, or recover your password if you have access to your email. If you're still having difficulty, please email us at info@getboat.com and we'll help you restore your account.

Can you pick us up from our location?

Absolutely! We can arrange for transfers to and from your yacht. Please note that this is an additional service and will be charged separately for your convenience.

Can you help us with an itinerary while we are on the boat?

Yes, we can. This is one of our greatest areas of expertise. We will give you personal service by inquiring as to your likes and dislikes and make itinerary suggestions accordingly. Once we are clear on the plan, we will contact the captain and mate and communicate your desires so you can have a fabulous time in the waters.

Can we pay the day of the charter?

We offer flexible payment options including cash, credit card, and wire transfer. To secure your charter, payment must be made 48 hours prior to the commencement of your trip

Can I charter the boat without a captain?

Absolutely! You're more than welcome to book a yacht with us and operate it on your own. However, we do require that you provide us with a valid license corresponding to the region you choose. This ensures everyone's safety while out on the water.

Can we have a chef on the yacht or order Food & Beverages?

Want a chef on board? You got it! We offer chef services for your entire trip, perfect for multi-day yacht charters. For day charters, we recommend a steward. Just let us know your preferences and we'll take care of the rest. And as for ordering food and beverages on the charter, we can handle that too! Simply tell us what you'd like to order and we'll make sure it's onboard. And if you need onboard catering, you got it as well! Additional fees may apply.

Can we bring our own Food & Beverage?

Feel free to bring your own food and beverages onboard! After all, it's your charter for the day, and we're here to help you get set up!

Can we book our charter a couple of months before guaranteeing us the boat?

Absolutely! Rest assured that we've got your back. Even if the unexpected happens and your desired yacht isn't available, we'll make sure you still have the same size or even a larger one. You won't ever be downgraded!

Are all your yachts insured?

Absolutely! Every single one of our yachts is insured by both the owner and our company for your peace of mind. The owner ensures that the yacht is fully covered throughout the entire charter period. However, please note that the owner's insurance policy doesn't cover the Charterer's protection and indemnity. So if you're interested in obtaining such coverage, that's your responsibility. It's important that you also comply with the terms of the owner's insurance policy, including the navigational limits.

Am I allowed to smoke on the yacht?

We want everyone to enjoy their time onboard, which is why smoking is only allowed in outside areas. Sorry, no smoking indoors!

Can I bring any pets on the yacht?

We absolutely love animals, but we kindly request that you inform us in advance about any pets accompanying you so we can arrange with the owner beforehand.

Can we rent a jet ski?

Absolutely! We offer a variety of additional services and equipment beyond just Jet Skis. If you have any specific requests or would like to add anything to your yacht rental, please let us know in advance. Please note that additional services are charged separately.

Do we need Passport on board a yacht charter?

You'll need a passport only if you're planning to leave the waters of one country and enter another. In that case, every person on board the yacht is required to carry their valid passport with them.

Can your crew (captain & mate) also watch my children?

Our crew is here to make sure you have a fantastic time on board, but they won't be able to assist with looking after children. If you're planning to bring children under 13, they must be accompanied by a nanny or an adult charter guest at all times for safety reasons. If you need extra help with childcare, you can hire an additional mate for an additional cost.

Do we need to pay for the crew, moorings and fuel?

We often include this in the price, but if your chosen charter incurs an extra cost, we'll let you know the exact expense before you book the boat. No surprises!
