The 183.73ft 56m Series sail yacht 'Asahi' was built by Perini Navi in Italy at their Viareggio shipyard.

She was delivered to her owner in 2009 and last refitted in 2014. Previously named Riela, her luxurious interior was designed by Remi Tessier. Accommodation Asahi's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in 6 cabins, comprising a master suite, 2 double cabins and 3 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard in 5 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Performance Powered by 2 Caterpillar (C-32) 1,257hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers sailing yacht Asahi is capable of a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots when powered by her engines. With her 59,000 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,031 nautical miles at 13 knots. Her water tanks store around 17,000 litres of fresh water.
