The Dutch shipyard Van der Valk has launched new Jangada 2 of a custom series of superyachts.
The 32-meter yacht is ready for sea trials in June. Before the presentation at Cannes yacht festival 2019, Jangada 2 will spend this summer cruising the Cote d'azur.
Jangada 2 is the fifth largest superyacht from the Van Der Valk custom series. The shipyard architects worked on the project, Nick Top and Guido De Groot designed the exterior and interiors. There is a luxe cabin for the yacht owner and 4 cabins to accommodate 11 guests. The yacht has a number of features and functions specially chosen by its owner like a deck with a flybridge and an open control post, a bar and an outdoor dining room. The yacht galley and cabin for the crew were also expanded.
Designer Nick Top said:
"It’s a real pleasure to work with an experienced owner and create a functional GA that meets the requirements of the owner."
Jangada 2 is equipped with a crane for placing tenders, jet skis and other water toys in the garage. The vessel has two MTU 12V2000 M96L engines. Due to them the yacht can reach cruising speed up to 18 knots and maximum up to 24 knots.
