The manufacturer of inflatable watercraft, the Russian company "Bratan" from St. Petersburg presented the world largest inflatable “Kovcheg”.
The length is up to 11,5 metres and the width is 3,3 metres. The boat is quite spacious and it can transfer about 2 tonnes. “Kovcheg” is to be equipped by tents to protect the crew from bad weather.
Each watercraft will be equipped with primary and back-up engines in 5 CV. Currently, the designers work on the Kovcheg's power system to make this boat able to go over 2.000 km without refuelling.
The vessel has already passed the test on Lake Ladoga and it is up to upgrade for the Amazon River expedition in 2020.
