Bénéteau will produce the smallest cruise catamaran in the Excess line.
The Bénéteau is building 11m-long Excess 11 catamaran. VPLV and Natura Design worked on the boat design. The difficulty was in fitting all the commodities of the superyacht inside a small catamaran.
The design is simple. The interior is decorated with cedar. The corner sofa and kitchen are located in the salon. A couple of sofas stand in the cockpit. Excess 11 exists in two variants - 3 or 4 cabins. Due to Nauta Design decisions, both the owner and guests will be able to stay on a yacht with maximum comfort.
The catamaran is equipped with 2 control post, located at the stern. Each of them possesses a stern, navigation system and other control devicel. Excess 11 is equipped with 2 29hp engines, 100l fuel tank and 300l potable water tank.
To create new catamaran the whole team used all the previous experience of cruise yacht creation. Bénéteau managed to create a light and compact catamaran without sacrificing comfort and coziness. Despite that, Excess 11 is capable of long travel. You can go to unknown places as the catamaran can pass small bays and gulfs and it is easy to dock it in small and calm backwaters where you can enjoy your vacation away from civilization.
You can see the new yacht at the boat show in Dusseldorf which is taking place right now until January 26. Bénéteau will also present Excess 11 during other exhibitions in the near future.
