Marine architects of American startup Arkup have designed the most durable floating house. The presentation of Arkup #1 took place at the Miami yacht show, which was held in February, from 14th to 18th.
Who has not dreamed of a house on the seashore? It is a common thing for Western United States. Dreams come true with Arkup, the company that developed the houseboat design. "House on water" is able to stand even severe hurricanes.
The 75-foot yacht is the first model of a floating house, which will make key changes in ekistics. Hydraulic supports lift the foundation up to 25 feet above waterline. It makes the floating house as stable as an ordinary building. The vessel is furnished and decorated by Brazilian company Artefacto.
The cost of Arkup #1 is now estimated at $ 5 500 000
Arno Luge, Director of technology and co-founder of ARKUP, said in a press release:
"Many high net worth individuals have already expressed their interest in being the first to own and enjoy our livable yacht. We are thrilled to organize private showings for potential buyers on Star Island, Miami Beach."
The houseboat will be moored on the Star Island in the next months and is available for rent in the Miami Bay area, so now anyone may try to live in a house on the water and appreciate all its advantages.
