Russian yachtsman Fedor Druzhinin will become a participant of the Mini Transat 2019, a single-handed race across the Atlantic Ocean. This dangerous but still popular among professionals and fans race is held every two years. The regatta route passes through zones with changeable weather conditions, therefore it is necessary to struggle against other participants and nature.
Before the expected race Druzhinin will have to pass several competitions in 2018 and 2019 at different distances. In total, the distances will be 1800 nautical miles. To the Mini Transat 2019 Fedor will arrive by a yacht of the Proto class, made of carbon fiber.
