The Four Oarsmen came first in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge in record time. The team overcame 3000 miles on the water on a rowing boat for 29 days and 14 hours. This was 6 days faster than the crossing Latitude 35 last year.
Participants Four Oarsmen is a team of four frineds who love sport.
Four Oarsmen also broke the record crossing the Atlantic on oars. The award of £250 000 Champions was given to the charity funds and in result gained even more sympathy of fans of the race.
Before the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge was launched on 14 December 2017 close to the community pools, and ended on the island of Antigua in Nelson Bay.
