The Sailing Festival of the 300th anniversary of sailing in Russia will be held in Moscow on May 13. The event takes a place in Ostankinsky pond, near to the Ostankino television center.
The main part of the show will be devoted to the children's sailing regatta. The first competitions among young yachtsmen were dedicated to the memory of the warriors of the Second World War. It was held on May 9, 1974. 100 participants and guests will visit the Sailing Festival this year.
In addition to the race, there will be a concert on the main stage of the Ostankino Park, lectures from yachtsmen and a photo exhibition "Sails for All. Real stories».
The festival is organized by the Moscow Federation of Sailing supported by Moscow Government.
