Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will celebrate its the 60th anniversary this year. The meeting point is in Fort Lauderdale.
Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) is a celebration for yachting enthusiasts. Guests come all over the world to the industry’s largest exhibition to take a look at the sailboats and motorboats built this year. FLIBS will be held in the world yachting capital until the 3rd of November. Arrangers promise a large number of luxury yachts at 7 Showgrounds around East Fort Lauderdale. There are 1,200 of shipbuilders and about 1,500 of yachts and boats.
The new ‘Superyacht Village’ zone was opened for the first time this year. The legendary 95-meter Lürssen Midsummer with a 12-meter pool and a spa with a transparent ceiling on the lower deck is moored here. Moreover, in this area are the 72-meter black Solo yacht, the 55-meter Vida Heesen yacht as well as the 38-meter Lejos and the 35-meter Mr. Loui from the famous Benetti shipyard. Visitors to the exhibition are lucky to be the first who see the Lexus Marquis 650. The most exceptional presentation of this year is a stainless steel houseboat with a motor on retractable "legs — piles" from Mansion Yacht.
Besides, there will be an entertainment program. There will be a competition where yacht cook will compete for the title of the best chef on the 1st of November.
